DELEGATION OF THE UNP WILL PARTICIPATE IN A PUBLIC HEARING AT THE NATIONAL CONGRESS

The Association of Public Universities of Paraguay (AUPP), chaired by the Rector of the National University of Pilar, Prof. Dr. Víctor Ríos and the Education Committee of the Senate, chaired by Senator Blanca Ovelar, jointly organize a Public Hearing on the «Contributions of the Public Universities of Paraguay for the definition of the guidelines of the Transformation of Education- 2019».

The event will take place on Monday from 10:00 am in the Bicameral Hall of the National Congress, with the support of the Private Universities of Paraguay.

In the framework of this activity, Dr. Ríos met with the directors of the UNP, an opportunity in which it was decided that an important delegation will depart from Pilar to participate in the debate.
It should be noted that important personalities linked to education were invited, as well as the Minister of Education and Sciences, Eduardo Petta.

Also, teachers, students, rectors of public and private universities, members of the Strategic Commission for Educational Transformation, which was formed in recent days, were invited.

«We want it to be something big where Paraguayan universities will express the need to be considered as essential actors of any process of change in the national education system», remarked the Rector of the UNP.

The program of the debate includes the opening words by Senator Ovelar, later Dr. Víctor Ríos. Likewise, there will be the intervention of the Project Coordinator for the contextualization of thematic axes
