MEETING TO COORDINATE ACTIVITIES AND TRAINING

Teachers of the Bachelor Degree in Physical Education and Sports Training of the Faculty of Applied Sciences of the National University of Pilar (UNP), participated yesterday in a meeting, when they discussed several topics of interest to the institution within the framework of the beginning of the academic year and the activities to be developed.

The Academic Director participated in the event as well as the professors; MSc. Elena López, the Evaluator of the FCA; Lic. Virginia Barrientos, the Director Lic. Osvaldo Silva and Academic Coordinator of the Carrer, Lic Alice Martínez.

Among the topics that were addressed in the meeting, we can highlight: the beginning of academic activities, the presentation of the FCA’s Evaluator and the institutional projects such as: The World Day of Physical Activity and Health – Agita Pilar (6º Edition); the Festival of San Juan and the Tecnoscience VIII.

On the other hand, 17 teachers were trained in the use of Curriculum Builder in the Virtual Classroom of the UNP, which was developed by Mr. Sergio A. Mareco, Director of Information Technology of the Rectorate. This within the plan of permanent training for the use of ICTs by teachers in pursuit of a constant improvement in higher education.

It should be noted that the Curriculum Builder is a tool that allows direct searches within the CICCO Portal from the Virtual Classroom platforms that the UNP has. The aforementioned tool will allow all the teachers of the UNP in the Virtual Classrooms to upload the most updated materials, books, papers, scientific articles that exist in the world.
